Mission Statement

St. Joseph’s Infant School was established in 1894 by the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany to provide Christian Education for children, ages four to six years.  The school also focuses on spiritual development, and with the use of technology seeks to enhance Stimulative Readiness Programmes and socialization while actively engaged in the Performing Arts (Music, Drama, Speech, Instruments).

Administrators and teachers will utilize technology as they partner with parents /guardians and all stake holders of the school community. This will create a loving, caring and affirming environment in which the children can learn and grow, with confidence through the stages of the educational process.

St. Joseph’s Infant is committed to developing the following values:

• Love of God as Creator and Sustainer

• Love and concern for each other as children of God

• Love and reverence for life and all creation

• Love for knowledge which will be enhanced by the use of technology
